Star Trek: The Original Series

Hey Scott, we’ve both been Star Trek fans since it first came on television in 1966. What do you say we travel back in time and revisit each of the Star Trek television series and how they portrayed heroism?

As people often say to me, “Beam me up, Scotty”. I’m in, I’m down, I’m eager to boldly review what we’ve never reviewed before.

Star Trek: The Animated Series

Scott, I’m really animated about this week’s review of Star Trek: The Animated Series.

Greg, I’m a shallow male who prefers mating to animating. But I’ll join you in reviewing this unique rendition of Star Trek.

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Greg, it’s time to review the second Star Trek series, Star Trek: The Next Generation.

It was a long time coming. And it had a lot to live up to.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Scott, we’ve been looking at the heroes of the Star Trek universe. This week we look at Deep Space Nine.

Yes, Greg, it’s the first Star Trek series that’s not about exploring space but rather occupying space. But oh, what a space it is. Quark’s bar, Odo’s bucket, and Sisko’s skillet are part of the amazing DS9 universe.

Star Trek: Voyager

Greg, it’s time to review the fourth Star Trek television series, Star Trek: Voyager, which ran from 1995 to 2001.

Yes, Star Trek Voyager – or as I like to call it… Star Trek: Lost in Space.

Star Trek: Enterprise

Greg, it’s time to review Star Trek’s sixth television series, Star Trek: Enterprise, which ran from 2001 to 2005.

Which is ironic because one of the things that separates the fans from the uninitiated is that people called the Starship Enterprise the Star Trek Enterprise. So now they’ve ret-conned the misnomer.

Star Trek: Picard

Scott, after thirty plus years, Patrick Stewart has returned to television as Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Star Trek fans across the globe are thrilled.

Greg, I really looked forward to watching this series, and it did not disappoint.
